• Appropriate production tools

 

ALU MARINE has acquired the latest production tools, perfectly adapted to the construction of large boats.

On a total area of 26,000 m², the shipyard consists of two large 2,500 m² hangars, fitted with bridge cranes and four 20 tonne synchronized hoists on a concrete slab with built in steel IPN beams.

There is also a slipway just in front of the shipyard, which facilitates the trials and the production logistics. 
With such a large working area and modern equipment, ALU MARINE offer the best working conditions to their teams with a substantial capacity of production. The shipyard can build large boats up to 50 meters in length.

 

• Quality materials

 

ALU MARINE choose their building material with extreme care.

Whether in aluminum or wood, all parts are rigorously selected to ensure the utmost quality of the finished product.
The yard uses high-quality marine grade aluminum for the construction of the hulls (5083 / 5086/ Sealium® AG4 H111) and extrusions  (6060 / 6082/ Sealium®). Sealium® is a marine grade aluminum alloy, approved by certification organizations, which improves the ships performance in respect of strength, safety and ease of maintenance.

• Faultless construction

 

Quality, precision and perfectly executed fabrication processes are the keywords of the shipyard.

The boats are built to today’s European standards.  The welding process has been accredited by one of the leading certification organization in the world, Bureau Veritas.

The construction procedures and the facilities meet the requirements of the international fluvial and maritime regulations safety standards.
The methodical organization of the production ensures our teams follow a strict construction procedure using advanced techniques, which guarantee the perfect assembly of parts.  The company has its own integrated methods development office.

The quality of finish is paramount. Our teams work meticulously to meet the requirements of even the most demanding owners.

 

• Rigorous testing

 

Each boat is carefully checked each step of the way and trials are performed during the construction process.

At each stage, our teams carry out a series of tests such as penetrant inspection, weight control, etc. All details and finish are also carefully inspected.
Then, the shipyard carries out a series of trials afloat, in conditions that ensure maximum reliability.

We support our clients throughout the course of their project and after delivery.
We also supervise the handing over procedure, carry out training, offer an after sale service and maintenance following construction.
