The underwater lines have been drawn using the experience gained from our racing yachts and advanced R & D programs (optimization by digital modelization, trials in basin, etc.…)

The width of the hull ensures an excellent stability while the laden displacement remains moderate. The waterline has been maximized and lines are particularly fine towards the bow.  Finally, the U shape of the stern gives the hull an excellent planing quality.”
 
The high ratio appendices (keel and rudders) with a moderate wet surface and fine profile, give the yacht a reasonable draft well suited to the owners’ cruising program.

Capable of high-performance under sail or under power, particular attention has been paid to putting the generous deck and interior spaces to good use.
 
Outside, the huge bathing platform opening aft is remarkable. At anchor, it is like a private beach and at sea, it allows the stowing of the equipment (tender, etc). Also, the main cockpit is a social area for the exclusive use of the owners and their guests. The after deck is devoted to the working crew.

Inside, the owners’ suite is a very private area specifically designed for comfort and light (with a panoramic view aft). The modular elements and equipment on the boat can be arranged as preferred.
 

The basic structure of the Maxi 140 is manufactured in aluminum, which guarantees the greatest possible strength and reliability. The superstructures and the cockpit are in lighter composite material to minimize displacement.
 
In short, this new concept is the compilation of more than 25 years experience in yacht racing and cruising.”
